Andreas Amann. After I went back to Germany, I have finished my medical studies and a business administration degree. I'm married, have two children and am still traveling the world as a business consultant. At the 2015 reunion I am sure will come to Calais Maine. 012210

Annette Bass. Glenburn ME. Haven't seen too many entries from the class of '85 though. Moved to Glenburn in August of '08 due to my daughter who was seriously injured in Dec '05. All here is good and would like to hear from some of my classmates. Email me anytime........... 011609

Karen McGraw Davis, Alexander ME. Still reside in Washington County. Working full time as Family Nurse Practitioner and anxiously awaiting the birth of our first grandchild. We have 3 children ages 27, 23 and almost 17. Own and operate Pleasant Lake Camping area.......... recently started participating in 5K challenges.....loved the Mudderella which was a 5K obstacle course. Look forward to my next challenge which is the "Tough Mountain Challenge" summer of 2015 at Sunday River Ski slope.

Timothy Gormley. Hello, although I left this class after freshman year, I have a good memory or two and wish you all well. I am a radiologist with the Navy in Washington DC (hello Jeff). Happily married with four children (Timmy 7, Gillian 5, Gretchen 3 and John 1m). I am often busy but would welcome a note if you desire ( It has been 20 years. Strange. I hope we've all traded well for our time.

Beth Johnson-Cousins. Living in Cooper, on beautiful Cathance Lake. Never left the Calais area. Married twice and have (3) kids ages 13, 11, and 7. Help my husband manage a construction company. Work like a dog, starting to wrinkle and grey, but still feel like I'm 18...ha, ha. Look forward to seeing everyone in 2005. 

Brian Waite, Anchorage, Alaska. 


Paul O誰eil, 48, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 23, 2016 in New Jersey. Paul was born in Calais to Wayne and Vicki O誰eil on May 17, 1967.  He is survived by his parents of Baileyville; sisters Becky O誰eil and her fianc John Lowery of Clifton, and Vera and David Johnson of Calais. Also survived by his nephew Bailey Stillman and nieces Dylan Stillman and their father, Dan Stillman of Bar Harbor, and Jillian and Lainey Johnson of Calais. His nephew and nieces were the love of his life. Surviving also are aunts and uncles Jim and Linda Ross of Illinois, and Robert and Arla Larson of Florida. Surviving close friends are Glen Hansen, and Kelly and their boys Hunter and Cameron, and Pam Record. He was known as 填nc to Dylan, Bailey, Jillian and Lainey. He was predeceased by his sister Ivy; grandparents Hazen and Vera O誰eil, and Gordon and Jean Harris; and his uncle Melvin O誰eil. Paul graduated from WCCC with a degree in culinary arts and welding, making the Dean痴 list while he was attending school. He traveled for various construction companies as a welder and fabricator. A graveside service will be held in Calais Cemetery for family and close friends and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport. Michael R. Tibbetts, 48 of Portland died of a sudden cardiac event on November 13, 2015 in Portland. He was born in Norwood, MA on February 18, 1967 the son of the late Robert Edward and Eleanor Mary (Haley) Tibbetts. Michael attended Calais High School and the University of Maine at Machias. All who knew Mike appreciated his intelligence, quick wit and his passion for history and debating politics. He was a devoted father to his son, Wally. He never missed any of his sons sporting events. They attended many Sea Dogs and Red Claw games and traveled to Boston to support the Red Sox and Celtics. He and his son, Wally, also shared a love of superheroes. Batman was his alter ego. One Halloween, Mike dressed as Batman and Wally as Robin. Both Mike and Wally enjoyed spending time with the newest addition to the family, their dog, Ace. Music has always been a central part of Mike's life. He began deejaying as a teenager at WQDY in Calais and continued his career at various radio stations from Houlton to Portland. He also worked in the Telecom business. Mike is survived by his son, Wally Tibbetts of Portland, sisters, Lisa Tibbetts of Portland and Michelle Tibbetts of Bath. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 580 Forest Avenue, Portland on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walter Tibbetts College Fund, C/O LeBlanc and Young PA, PO BOX 7950, Portland, ME 04112-7950. Arrangements by A.T.
